Episode 1: Nanie’s Mac & Cheese
Type: Lunch or Dinner
Basic Overview: This is one of my kiddos’ favorite
recipes that my mom makes for them, so we named it after her! “Nanie’s Mac & Cheese” is the perfect dish for a summer cookout and it makes a great holiday dish – we eat it all year long too! It is easy, takes 5 minutes to make, and it’s delicious!
Ingredients:

Box of your favorite pasta

2 cans of Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup

Seasoned croutons

Recipe Instructions: Cook pasta, drain. Add to cans of Campbell’s Cheddar soup. Stir together until cheese is folded into pasta and melted. Smash croutons in a Ziplock bag and sprinkle on top of mac’n cheese. Put it into oven on 350 until croutons are golden brown (8-10 minutes). Serve and enjoy!
Episode 2: The Walking Taco
Type: Snack
Basic Overview:  My kids love making these! Perfect for a busy night when your family has to eat on the run!
Ingredients:

Cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoning optional)

1 individual portion of Fritos or Doritos chips

Shredded lettuce

Diced tomatoes

Shredded cheese

Sour cream (optional)

Recipe Instructions:  Open bag of Fritos or Doritos and add a scoop of cooked meat (that you’ve made the night before) right into the bag. You can use ground beef or turkey seasoned to your family’s liking. Then top with your kiddos’ favorite toppings such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and cheese. Grab
a fork and you’ve got a delicious meal your family
can eat on the run!
Episode 3: Honey Mustard Dip with Veggies
Type: Healthy Snack
Basic Overview:  This dish is a fantastic way to get your kiddos to eat veggies! It can be served almost anytime and makes a great snack or appetizer.
Ingredients:

For dip:

1 spoonful of mayonnaise

1 spoonful of Dijon mustard

Honey or syrup

For veggies:

1 cucumber

Small cookie cutter

Recipe Instructions:  First, slice your cucumber. Then take each individual slice and use your cookie cutter to create a shape. You can serve both the cut out slice of veggie and the slice with the cut out. Your kiddos will love picking which one they want! Next grab a bowl and add a heaping spoonful of mayonnaise and then one of Dijon mustard. Pour syrup (or honey) over the top of the mixture. Mix together. Place dip with your cucumber cutouts and enjoy!
Episode 4: Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  This is the YUMMIEST homemade dessert that your kiddos can create all by themselves! It takes minutes and is always a hit!
Ingredients:

Large chocolate chip cookies (homemade or

store bought)

Ice cream (your choice of flavor)

Sprinkles (optional)

Recipe Instructions:  Take a scoop of ice cream (semi soft) and cover it in sprinkles. Sandwich the ice cream between two cookies and lightly press together. The ice cream will spread out easily between the two cookies. Instant homemade ice cream sandwich!
Episode 5: Strawberry Lemonade with Blueberry
Type: Drink
Basic Overview:  This is the YUMMIEST homemade dessert that your kiddos can create all by themselves! It takes minutes and is always a hit!
Ingredients:

Strawberry lemonade

Ice filled with blueberries

Recipe Instructions:  Pour a glass of strawberry lemonade. Fill with ice cubes that you have pre-frozen with blueberries inside. Top with a party straw and you have a yummy, refreshing drink!
Episode 6: 4th of July Trifle
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  We love celebrating the 4th of July and what better way to get in the spirit of the Fourth than making this beautiful red, white, and blue dessert! It is a festive summertime treat perfect for your 4th of July celebration and oh sooooo good!
Ingredients:

Cool Whip

Blueberries

Strawberries

Crushed pineapple

Crumbled pound cake

Reddi-wip

Recipe Instructions:  Fill a tall bowl (preferable glass so you can see layers) with the first layer of strawberries. Then continue layering in ingredients: Cool Whip, blueberries, crumbled pound cake, and crushed pineapple. Top with another layer of Cool Whip and continue layer till you reach the top of your bowl. Finish with Reddi-wip. Yum!
Episode 7: 4th of July Hot Dogs in a Blanket
Type: Lunch
Basic Overview:  These are a super fun and easy twist on your traditional hot dog!
Ingredients:

1 Package of crescent rolls

1 Package of hot dogs

Shredded cheese (if desired)

Recipe Instructions:  Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Open crescent roll package and separate rolls onto a cookie sheet. Place shredded cheese (if desired) on the largest part of the uncooked crescent roll. Then place hot dog on the roll and roll the entire thing up. Top the outside with shredded cheese if you’re a cheese lover! Bake for 12-14 minutes at 325 degrees. Severe with your favorite crunchy salty snack for a twist at your next barbecue!
Episode 8: Lemon Wafer Mason Jar Dessert
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  Refreshing spring dessert that will have your family asking for more. Best of all, it takes no time to make it and there’s barely any clean up!
Ingredients:

Mason jar

Lemon pudding

Vanilla wafers

Cool Whip

Blueberries

Reddi-wip

Recipe Instructions:  Crumble Vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag. This is a great job for a kiddo. Next take a Mason jar and fill the bottom of it with pudding. Then layer on top some of the crumbled wafers, then cool whip, then berries. Continue alternating til you reach the top of the jar. Finish off with a squirt of Reddi-wip!
Episode 9: The Banana Awesomeness Mason Jar Dessert
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  Super fast, super easy, super delicious dessert! When my kids have friends over, this is at the top of the list to make!
Ingredients:

Mason jar

Vanilla pudding

Graham crackers

Bananas

Caramel sauce

Reddi-wip

Recipe Instructions:  Grab a Mason jar and fill the bottom of it with crumbled graham crackers. Then layer on vanilla pudding and sliced banana. Drizzle with caramel sauce and layer Cool Whip on top. Finish off by topping with more sliced bananas and a decorative drizzle of caramel sauce. A delicious treat that takes less than 5 minutes to make!
Episode 10: The Rocky Road Mason Jar Dessert
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  Kids love Mason jar individual desserts. And, if your family loves Rocky Road ice cream, they will LOVE this delectable dessert!
Ingredients:

Chocolate pudding

Mini-marshmallows

Chocolate chips

Cool Whip

Graham crackers

Peanuts (optional)

Recipe Instructions:  Grab a Mason jar and fill the bottom of it with crumbled graham crackers. Next layer chocolate pudding, chocolate chips, marshmallows, Cool Whip, and peanuts (if desired.) Continue to layer to the top of the Mason jar. Finish off with whipped topping and chocolate chips!
Episode 11: Karen’s Corn Salad with Pita Chips
Type: Snack

Basic Overview:  This is my good friend Karen’s recipe and it is so fresh and delicious! We beg her to make it every summer and when she tells me she’s making it, we run to her house! It’s my favorite dish to eat in the summer and it’s good for you too!!

Ingredients:

Cooked Corn on the cob

Can of Black Beans

Diced Tomatoes

Peppers (red, yellow, and orange)

Chopped Onion

Bag of Pita Chips

Recipe Instructions:  Cut all of the corn off your cobs and place into a large bowl. Next, mix in a can of black beans (rinsed and drained), 3 medium sized chopped peppers in any color, diced fresh tomato, diced red onion, and ½ a cup of cilantro leaves (if desired.) Mix together. Top off by squeezing the juice of ½ a lemon, a dash of red wine vinegar and olive oil. Lightly season salad with sea salt and cracked pepper then mix one last time. Serve with pita chips.
Episode 12: Mini Sundae with Cinnamon Pita Chips
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview:  These deliciously unexpected individual desserts are super to please your kiddos or a crowd!
Ingredients:

Mini Mason jar or small dish

Vanilla ice cream

Cinnamon-sugar pita chips

Mint leaves (optional)

Recipe Instructions:  Take your small dish and fill with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Crumble up cinnamon-sugar pita chips and sprinkle onto ice cream. Top with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
Episode 13: BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich
Type: Lunch or Dinner
Basic Overview:  Quick and easy week night dinner the whole family will request again and again! This is one of my husband’s personal faves!
Ingredients:

Crock-pot

Pulled pork

BBQ sauce

Root beer

Cole slaw (optional)

Pickles (optional)

Hamburger buns

Recipe Instructions:  Cook pulled pork in your handy dandy crock pot. 3 hours on high or overnight on low. Add BBQ sauce and 1/3 can of root beer to pulled pork. Mix together. Fill toasted hamburger buns with pulled pork mixture and top with pickles and coleslaw to your liking!
Episode 14: Goat Cheese Baguettes
Type: Snack or Appetizer
Basic Overview:  Quick and easy appetizer that adults and kiddos will equally love! Great for a snack or as an appetizer for a party!
Ingredients:

Goat cheese

Diced fresh tomatoes

Sliced basil leaves

Herb baguettes

Recipe Instructions:  Take your small dish and fill with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Crumble up cinnamon-sugar pita chips and sprinkle onto ice cream. Top with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
Episode 15: Ice Cream Cherry Float
Type: Dessert or Drink

Basic Overview:  My youngest daughter loves this delicious treat! It is colorful, refreshing, and delicious! This is a cherry version of a root beer float that your family will love!

Ingredients:

Mason jar

Cherry 7-Up

Vanilla ice cream

Party straw

Recipe Instructions:  Fill a Mason jar or regular glass with a cup of Cherry 7-up. Then add one scoop of vanilla ice cream and a fun straw!
Episode 16: Orange Crush Float
Type: Drink

Basic Overview: A quick summer treat to cool off that puts a twist on the classic float.

Ingredients:

Vanilla Ice Cream

Orange Crush Soda

Party straw

Recipe Instructions: Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into a glass (or 3 scoops if you’re an ice cream addict). Open a can of Orange Crush, and pour over the ice cream. Feel free to top off with another scoop and a straw, and you have a simple, refreshing treat perfect for those hot days.
Episode 17: Nutter Butter Mini Dessert Shooters
Type: Dessert

Basic Overview: Mini desserts…is there anything more fun to make?!! Love these simple and easy desserts that will take you less than 5 minutes to make! Perfect for any occasion and so fun to serve!

Ingredients:

Vanilla Ice Cream

Nutter Butter Cookies

Milk

Caramel Sauce

Sprinkles

Whip Cream

Recipe Instructions: Smash nutter butter cookies in a Ziplock bag with a large spoon. Mix cookie crumbles with milk and tablespoon of caramel sauce in a blender. Rim mini shooter glass with caramel sauce. Pour small amount of sprinkle on a plate and put rim of shooter glass upside down in the plate of sprinkles. Caramel sauce helps secure the sprinkles on the rim! Pour contents from blender into rimmed shooter glass. Top with whip cream!
Episode 18: Mini Banana-Split Dessert Shooters
Type: Dessert
Basic Overview: My kids love making these! Delicious, fast and a family favorite!
Ingredients:

Caramel Sauce

Vanilla Ice Cream

Bananas

Whip Cream

Cherry

Recipe Instructions: This dessert is made by layering the ingredients. Start my putting caramel sauce at the bottom of the shooter glass, layer a spoonful of vanilla ice cream, add a layer of chopped bananas, add caramel sauce and so on until you reach the rim! Top with whip cream and a cherry!
Episode 19: TailGating Buffalo Wings
Type: Snack

Basic Overview: Perfect for your next tailgate to cheer on your favorite team!

Ingredients:

Frozen Buffalo Wings

Mustard

Spicy Mustard

Brown Sugar

Recipe Instructions: Put your buffalo wings in an iron skillet and place in your oven for 15-17 minutes at 350. Mix up two spoonfuls of yellow mustard, two spoonfuls of spicy mustard and a spoonful of brown sugar. Mix together and you have the perfect sauce for your tailgate!
Episode 20: Praline Bacon
Type: Snack

Basic Overview: Everybody Loves Bacon!!!! This is a crowd pleaser for sure!

Ingredients:

Thick Cut Bacon

Black Pepper

Brown Sugar

Recipe Instructions: Place thick cut bacon (cut bacon strips in half) on a sheet of foil on a cookie sheet. Spread brown sugar on top of bacon and ground black pepper on top. That’s it! So simple and delicious! Cook for 18-20 minutes (depending on how you like your bacon) at 350.
Episode 21: Halloween Eyeball Cupcakes
Type: Snack

Basic Overview: It’s Halloween, so it’s natural that your food is a little bit creepy this time of year. Delicious cupcakes that have their “Eye” on you.

Ingredients:

Vanilla Cupcakes

Gummy Lifesavers

Green & Purple Skittles or M&M’s

Red Gel Icing

Recipe Instructions: Place, green gummy lifesaver on top of cupcake. Fill center in with red gel icing and lines from center to make it appear bloodshot.
Episode 22: Mummy Rice Crispy Treats
Type: Snack

Basic Overview: A frightfully simple treat that’s sure to be a scream with your little ones.

Ingredients:

Rice Crispy Treats

Colored Icing

Google Eyes

Recipe Instructions: Melt colored icing and dip rice crispy treat on to the top half. Place edible google eyes on icing. Place on skewer or paper straw. Set for 5 minutes and serve.
